Winwyn Marquez on Alden Richards: 'Di ko kasi alam kung nanligaw ba talaga siya'

After Alden Richards dropped the bomb that he nearly dated Winwyn Marquez in the past, the actress and beauty queen aired her side of the story.

In an interview on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Wednesday, Winwyn said she's not sure if there was a "misunderstanding."

"'Di ko kasi alam kung nanligaw ba talaga siya," she said.

"He's really kind, malambing siya, mabait siya, and I feel like he's like that to everyone. Sobrang bait kasi niya," she added.

She also said that there were no flowers, no visits to her house, and no gifts.

And while it's true they got busy because of work, she said there's not much to talk about outside the fact that she considers him a "really good friend."

"We can talk about anything under the sun," she said.

Asked how she felt when she learned that Alden said they almost had something, she answered, "Wala naman kasi tapos na."

"I don't want to go back and dwell on the past," she said. "Kahit anong sabihin natin, I'm so proud of him. I'm so proud of his success."

"We remain good friends," she added.

Alden talked about his love life during his interview on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" in January. Aside from Winwyn, he said he also nearly dated Julie Anne San Jose. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
