Martha Stewart sits down for Filipino lunch with Manila Mayor Isko, DOT Chief Berna

Lifestyle icon Martha Stewart is currently in Manila for an event.

On Monday, she sat down for a delicious Filipino lunch at the National Museum of Natural History. Among the attendees were Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Department of Tourism Secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat, who toured Martha around Manila including Fort Santiago and the San Agustin Church inside Intramuros.

Asia's Best Female Chef 2016 Margarita Fores, who prepared the lunch, was also present.

Among the dishes served were Binakol na Manok, Inihaw na Apahap sa Dahon, Bistek Tagalog, and of course, what is a Filipino lunch without lechon?

There were a a few roasted pigs prepared for Martha: One from Zubuchon of Cebu and another, which came stuffed with foie gras, truffle rice, and adorned with gold leaf and flowers, from Manila's beloved Pepita's Lechon.
