There's an al fresco food truck fest happening every weekend, in case your cabin fever is at an all-time high

Nobody expected quarantine measures to last this long and if you're like any of us, your cabin fever must be at an all-time high.

It's still quite risky to go out, COVID-19 is still out there, but if your mental health is beginning to suffer, consider Sofitel's al fresco weekend food truck festival courtesy of its Sunset Bar.

First offered on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, the al fresco food truck festival proved to be quite a hit that the hotel in Manila is bringing back on weekends, beginning sundown.

Consider it a picnic: Sunset Bar's executive chef Bettina Arguelles has on offer casual things like tacos and burgers, skewers and sausages. Of course, there's free-flowing local beer a well as iced tea, soda and wine.

It's a casual romp in the hotel's gardens, facing the famous Manila sunset no less, which allows you to hit two birds with one delicious stone: You get a dose of nature, which is important to everybody's well-being, and it's in open air, which is a very important factor in COVID-19 response. — LA, GMA News

The Sunset Bar's Food Truck Festival (P2,850 nett) is available every Saturday and Sunday, from 6pm to 10pm.
