Alex Eala celebrates WTA 125 Birmingham Open win with a sandwich dinner in hotel room

Alex Eala just won the WTA 125 Birmingham Open, and what does she do to celebrate?

She goes back to her hotel room in the Chelsea district of Southwest London and enjoys a "celebratory dinner" consisting of a sandwich, a chocolate bar, and a container of fruit.

On Instagram Stories early Monday morning, the Filipina tennis darling posted a video from her hotel bed that showed her having dinner while watching "Pride and Prejudice" from her laptop.

"Celebratory dinnerrrr," she captioned her IG Stories post, along with a smiley emoji.

Alex outlasted Nikola Bartunkova in a thrilling final, , 5-7, 6-3, 7-5. She joins a distinguished list of Birmingham champions that includes Billie Jean King, Maria Sharapova, and Ash Barty.

"It sounds really beautiful, of course. All those names that you've mentioned are tennis greats, and I'm so honored to be lifting this trophy today," Eala said after the match.

"But lifting this trophy does not mean that I will be among the greats yet, so I'm motivated to keep working, and I'm grateful for the part that this trophy has played in my journey."

Earlier, Alex went viral on social media after she was caught on video holding up and sharing her umbrella with a ball girl.

"'Sharing is caring'," the official LTA Instagram account said in its caption of Eala's cute moment. "Wholesome moment as @alex.eala shares her umbrella with one of our Lexus Birmingham Open ball kids."
