Pia Wurtzbach opens up about 'complicated life', genuine friendships

The confidently beautiful Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach showed us a little bit of vulnerability in her latest vlog.

In a video uploaded on her YouTube channel earlier this week, the beauty queen said she woke up not feeling "100 percent" and opened up about her personal struggles.

"Gusto kong maging honest, alam mo 'yun? There are days na hindi ako okay, na paggising ko, parang...may dinala akong bigat from kagabi tas dinala ko today, or dinala ko sa paggising ko" Pia said.

According to Pia, hers is a rather "complicated" life, which has her asking who her real friends are.

"I have some personal relationships that I think can improve pa — it's not that I have enemies, it's just more of, like, it's a very complicated life that I live in because you don't really know who your true friends are, or you think you do but then, turns out they're not," she said.

"Parang, in the end, you don't really know who has your back," Pia added.

She manages these moments by praying and accepting the fact that there will really be days when she's not 100%.

"What's important is you realize alam mo 'yung mga blessings mo, you're grateful and you know how to just let go. So that's what I did today."

The rest of Pia's exciting vlog showed just how hectic her schedule was.

Pia was seen running through the airport, saying she almost missed her flight. Her team was headed off to Jakarta in Indonesa after several days in Bangkok, Thailand.

The beauty queen also shared some exclusive backstage footage during a star-studded show in Jakarta, featuring artists like actress Nadine Lustre and pop singer Dua Lipa. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
