Here's how you can learn a new language all while sponsoring PPEs for frontliners in QC

A student organization in the University of the Philippines is offering foreign language tutorials to raise funds for the personal protective equipment of healthcare workers.

The UP Le Club Français launched their fundraising drive "SOLIDARTÉ" to provide PPEs to the medical staff of hospitals and health centers in Quezon City.

For just a minimum pledge amount, the group will be offering free access to learning materials for either French, Italian, German or Spanish.

P300 gives you access to learning materials for one language, while P500, grants you two languages; P750, three, while P1,000 lets you learn four languages.

The organization clarified that once they are able to verify the donation, they will add you to a Facebook group where they will "be posting basic learning tools (worksheets, videos, podcasts, etc) of your chosen language."

These, it shared, have either been created or collated for a month's worth of learning.

Due to a global shortage, healthcare workers face PPE shortages amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Just this week, the Department of Health announced that over 1,819 healthcare workers have been infected with COVID-19, with 34 already succumbing to the disease.
