Rachelle Ann Go gives a 33rd-week pregnancy update in new vlog

Rachelle Ann Go has hit the 33rd week of pregnancy and she has updates!

In a Youtube vlog posted Sunday, the internationally acclaimed Filipino stage actress shared how the baby is becoming incredibly active insider her womb, preventing her from getting enough sleeping.

“I think it’s probably because my body is preparing for the baby, tapos ang kulit. As in sipa nang sipa — parang may boxing match,” she said.

But Rachelle loves it anyway. “I love it. I love feeling the kicks. I just can’t wait to meet our little angel,” she added.

Rachelle estimates the baby now weighs around 2.15 kilograms and measures 45 centimeters, making her grow as well.

She's just a few weeks before giving birth, and the singer can’t help but wish for a normal delivery.

“I’m praying for a natural birth. Please pray for me na swabe. Gusto ko yung isa o dalawang push, the baby’s out.”

“I’m scared. It’s a major operation so I’m praying it’s gonna be natural.”

Although frightened, Rachelle said that she is open to exploring options, if things don’t go as planned.

“I don’t want to focus on one thing kasi syempre ‘pag dumating ka na sa moment na ‘yon ta’s you don’t get what you want, sometimes, I feel like it’s stressful.”

“Whatever is gonna happen, let it be and I know my body will cooperate [since] women are created to do this.”

To prepare, she and husband Martin Spies have observed a live birth, attended a virtual birth class and are visiting their midwife every three weeks.

Rachelle also shared the products that they have already bought for the baby’s arrival, including a car seat, a high chair and a baby carrier.

Rachelle and Martin tied the knot in 2018 and announced their pregnancy in November 2020. — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
