Angelica Jones in better condition after testing positive for COVID-19

Angelica Jones-Alarva is on her way to recovery after she, her son, and her mother tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Angelica, together with her son Angelo and mother Beth, have been staying in the hospital for one week after contracting the virus, according to a Chika Minute report by Lhar Santiago on “24 Oras” on Thursday.

“I had pneumonia and asthma while Angelo had dengue and COVID-19, we are now being treated. My mother meanwhile is at ICU. I’m asking for prayers as her oxygen is getting low,” Angelica said in Filipino.

Despite experiencing pneumonia and asthma, the actress and Laguna board member said she was on her way to recovery.

“Nag-i-improve naman po ’yung pneumonia ko ngayon, ginagamot po nila ’yung blood ko para mawala ’yung asthma ko. Alagang alaga po kami at lumalaban po kami,” Angelica said.
