Nadine Samonte is at the hospital after experiencing preterm contractions

Nadine Samonte was sent to the hospital after experiencing preterm contractions at 33 weeks of her 3rd pregnancy.

In an Instagram post, Nadine said, "33wks but having contractions already. I pray na makalabas pa ako ng hospital today. If not, I'm gonna deliver soon." 

"I know Lord will be there to guide me and our little one. Thank you sa mga nagpe-pray na for me. Have a nice day ahead everyone," she added.

Last June, Nadine announced that she is pregnant with her third child with husband Richard Chua. Shortly thereafter, the actress shared a photo of her bruised belly and medication, revealing how they almost lost their third baby because of PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and APAS (Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome).

According to Mayo Clinic, PCOS is a hormonal syndrome that can cause pregnancy complications like miscarriage or premature birth.

APAS, on the other hand, is said to be “an autoimmune disorder [that] occurs when the body’s immune system makes abnormal antibodies that attack and damage tissues or cells.”

Nadine and Richard tied the knot in 2013. They currently have two children, their panganay Heather and Baby Titus, whom she gave birth to in 2019. — LA, GMA News
