Kris Aquino in extreme pain after bone marrow aspiration, suffers from gastric ulcer

Kris Aquino said she is currently in extreme pain after a recent bone marrow aspiration procedure. It was also found that she has erosive gastritis and gastric ulcer.

Sharing an Instagram video containing photos of her and her children getting tests done at the hospital, Kris updated her followers on the findings.

Apart from the erosive gastritis and gastric ulcer through upper endoscopy, Kris said she is still ailing from the bone marrow aspiration, which is needed for biopsy.

“Kumuha ng bone marrow fluid from my back pelvic bone. That sample is now being tested to rule out a blood-related disorder associated with my weight loss and my being anemic,” she said.

“There’s this parang nabugbog [nang] bongga feeling in my lower spine. Apart from medical limitations, halos wala na kasi akong fat to help ‘cushion’ my bones kaya [exaggerated] ang sakit.”

Despite this, Kris said she’s thankful to have found that she has no tumors, no cancer was detected, and her heart is “in good shape and healthy working order.”

“I constantly remind myself to keep thanking God since my current pain is temporary. Malalagpasan rin kaya bawal umangal. Maraming mas malala ang pinagdadaanan,” she said.

“May hinihintay pang mga resulta kaya manahimik, magpasalamat, at patuloy na magdasal,” she went.

Kris said she will continue doing her best to follow her doctors’ advises to eat more, relax, breathe some fresh air, and attempt to start recreational walking.

Apart from her doctors and caretakers, Kris also thanked Angel Locsin for staying beside her, Josh, and Bimby as they face life’s challenges.

Previously, Kris said she will be seeking further treatment abroad. Last year, she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. — LA, GMA News
