Pia Wurtzbach finishes New York Marathon with fiance Jeremy Jauncey cheering in the sidelines

Pia Wurtzbach just finished her first-ever marathon in New York, and her ever-supportive fiancé Jeremy Jauncey flexed her accomplishment on social media.

Not only did Jeremy share a photo of the beauty queen holding the medal she earned from the marathon, he also stopped at several points of the marathon route to cheer her from the sidelines, at one point, even joining "the last few miles" of the marathon with Pia.   

“She did it!” he wrote at the very end of his Instagram documentation. “COVID, work & travel schedule, and she still achieved her goal.”

with Jeremy last week to join in the marathon, which she described as her “secret dream.”

After months of intensive training and a few bumps along the way, including some self-doubts and getting sick, the Miss Universe 2015 was able to finish her first-ever 42km race in New York.

According to the New York Times, the New York City Marathon this year returned to its pre-pandemic scale with about 50,000 runners.
