Delightful display of pets and their humans at Antipolo mall

Christmas is a time of merriment—and animal lovers found a fun and fitting way to celebrate the holiday season by joining a carnival for pets at a mall in Antipolo on Sunday.

The Paws Carnival at SM City Masinag on December 9 was a fashion show with a Christmas Carnival theme, and both human and animal attendees dressed in their fantasy best.

According to the mall, participants and their pets should be "twinning" in costumes inspired by the carnival or the movie The Greatest Showman. They could also choose the song that would accompany them down the "ramp."

The event offered gift certificates and freebies for the top three participants. Check out some of the costumes below:
