9 New Year's Eve parties to welcome 2019 with a bang!


And just like that, 2018 is over. Below, we roundup a few fun parties to welcome 2019 with aplomb.

1. New World Makati’s New Year’s Eve Countdown

Dance 2018 away with music at the New World Ballroom, where the Blue Grass Band and DJ Yhana Nicole will provide entertainment and sounds. There are two beverage packages – Sparkle or Shine – to choose from, which come with midnight snacks (P2,500/head). Four passes entitles you to a raffle ticket, which then gives you the chance to win a two-night accommodation with Club access at New World Millennium Hong Kong and two roundtrip business class airline tickets. 2. Seda Vertis North’s Countdown Party

3. Cocoon Boutique Hotel

Party music, party favors, noisemakers, and a chance to catch the community fireworks displays around the city. How’s that for a grand New Year welcome?

4. The Garage at City of Dreams

At the newly opened The Garage, unplugged band Ice Bucket will take the reign come December 31 starting at 10pm. Revelers can enjoy the band’s brand of rock’nroll as they savor a wide selection of food and drinks from the 10 food trucks in the food hall. 5. Live music at Centerplay

A slew of live bands one after another will entertain guests at Centerplay in City of Dreams, starting at 6pm with Silk. Higher Ground follows at 7pm, after which Moranos will take the stage at 10pm. Part 3 will be on at 11pm, after which Silk, Moranos, and Higher Ground will come together for the most blaring of countdowns. 6. Xylo at The Palace

7. Okada’s Legendary Concert Countdown

The entire property will be lit up in the brightest lights and beams shooting up to the skies, leading guests to Okada’s Grand Ballroom, where OPM legends Lajji Alejandro, Marco Sison, Rey Valera, Hazel Faith and the Manila Sound Project will be serenading guests. Of course, sumptuous food and free-flowing drinks are on offer. The semi-formal night could be had in two tiers: Gold (P8,888.00) and VIP (P10,888.00). 8. BGC x Taguig Pulse

Autotelic, Bret Jackson, Sofia Romualdez, Curtismith, Massiah, Astro Kidd, among others will headline Bonifacio Global City's massive New Year's Eve countdown party. Head out on 5th Avenue (between 28th and 30th Street) for a night of food, fun, music, and fireworks that are all for free. It starts with a mass at 6pm after which a musical performance inspired by "The Greatest Showman" follows. When everybody's pumped up, the free concert starts, and then the finale: a 15-minute fireworks display. 9. Shanghai Nights New Year’s Eve Gala Ball at Peninsula Manila

 

 How about that old Shanghai allure to end 2018 with? The Peninsula Manila will be transforming its lobby into an opulent 1920’s art deco Shanghai ballroom come the 31st for a fabulous New Year’s Eve party. There will be a buffet dinner with, among others, caviar, tapas, tiger prawns, New Zealand mussels, braised beef cheeks, roasted lamb legs, and lechon de leche are on offer.
