GMA Network unveils teaser for live action series 'Voltes V Legacy'

It's official, mga Kapuso! GMA Network is bringing you a live action remake of the beloved "Voltes V" anime.

The new series called "Voltes V Legacy" got a full teaser on New Year's Day.

The minute-long clip gives us a sneak peek of the giant sword-wielding robot we all know and love, but this time in mindblowing CGI!

The teaser also says the live action series has been "licensed by Japan's own Toei Company, Ltd. through its Philippine-licensor Telesuccess Productions, Inc."

Director Mark Reyes, known for "Encantadia" and several other projects on GMA, has been dropping hints of a possible Voltes V project from the network for a while now, and it looks like a "dream project" has finally become a reality.

The director also posted this teaser on his IG page just before Christmas, with a special greeting card to match!
