If Alvaro Morte had the 'Money Heist' cash, he'd look for COVID-19 vaccine

Alvaro Morte, the actor who plays El Profesor in "Money Heist," said if he had the cash from the heist he would want to spend it looking for a vaccine for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In a roundtable video interview with "Money Heist" cast, the Spanish actor said if he ever laid hands on as much cash as they had in the show he would "open up some borders."

Alvaro said he would want to "bring some dignity to all the refugees in the complicated situations we're living in right now, [with] the coronavirus."

He continued and said he would spend the "Money Heist" cash to look for a vaccine for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

"I'd love to put all of that money or a great part  to find a vaccine to put an end to  this situation as soon as possible," he said.

Jaime Lorente, who plays Denver in the series, initially said he would spend the money for a "social cause" and a theater, which he later said he'd would want to use as a facility for vaccine research.

"I would do is use the money for some kind of social cause. And also, I will make myself a theater to have one with my colleagues and do whatever I feel like," Jaime said.

One of their co-stars, Itziar Ituño who plays Raquel in the show, earlier revealed she tested positive for COVID-19.

Money Heist Part 4 will arrive on Netflix on April 3 and it's been one crazy cliffhanger after another just to get here. 

In case you were wondering: In Parts 1 and 2, they actually escaped with €984 million from the Royal Mint of Spain. That's approximately 54.75 billion in Philippine peso!

Meanwhile, the show's last season left us with a chaotic cliffhanger: They were in the middle of stealing 90 tons of gold bars and melting them into tiny grains inside the Bank of Spain.
