Former Ghibli president demonstrates how to draw Totoro

If you loved Totoro from classic anime film "My Neighbor Totoro," why not try to draw him?

Former Studio Ghibli president Toshio Suzuki demonstrated how in a tutorial video meant for children in his hometown, Nagoya, Japan.

However, the video took off as it drew interest from fans all over the world.

Suzuki showed how to do a simple sketch of the beloved character, and emphasized that the most important part of it is the eyes.

Ghibli's 1988 film "My Neighbor Totoro" follows two sisters who move to a country house and encounter a spirit named Totoro.

Totoro is also Studio Ghibli's mascot.
