Journey reunites with Randy Jackson, performs 'Don't Stop Believin'' for UNICEF

Arnel Pineda and rock band Journey welcomed three new members as they performed their hit song "Don't Stop Believin'" for a UNICEF event on Saturday.

Lead guitarist Neal Schon announced the return of former "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson, who previously served as the band's bassist.

"Ok Friends word is out ! @randyjackson RJ the Big Dawg is our new Bass player again," Neal wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.

Aside from Jackson, other members who made their virtual debut include drummer Narada Michael Walden and keyboardist Jason Derlatka.

The performance was part of the UNICEF Won't Stop special global relief concert for children. The video was later posted on the band's YouTube channel. 

According to a report on Rolling Stones, Journey fired drummer Steve Smith and bassist Ross Valory just this March after attempting to elaborate boardroom coup to seize control of the group's finances. —Jannielyn Bigtas/MGP, GMA News
