You can attend the San Diego Comic-Con virtually and for free this July

For the first time in history, the San Diego Comic-Con will take place online and will be totally free for everyone.

The annual event went virtual with "Comic-Con@Home," which will take place from July 22 to 26, according to Collider.

This means that you can attend as many panels as you want, from the comfort of your home!

"For the first time in our 50-year history, we are happy to welcome virtually anyone from around the globe," SDCC spokesperson David Glanzer told Collider. "Though stay-at-home conditions make this a very difficult time, we see this as an opportunity to spread some joy and strengthen our sense of community."

Organizers also plan to set up an online Exhibit Hall where people can find special offers, promotions, and limited-edition products.

Activities such as a Masquerade and game are also slated for the online convention.

Comic-Con is an annual event that brings together fans of comic books and other related art forms. It takes place in San Diego, California.
