This free new game from Nintendo will get you up and jumping

Here's a free new game for Nintendo Switch users: It's called Jump Rope Challenge and does exactly what it says on the tin.

Nintendo introduced the new game on Facebook and invited players to "grab a pair of Joy-Con controllers and take an active break in your day by jumping rope."

"This simple game was created by a few Nintendo developers while working from home in Japan to add quick and fun physical movement into their daily life," Nintendo said.

To play the game, you'll have to hop to be able to jump rope virtually and strive for a high score. According to the website, another player can join using another Joy-Con controller.

It is now available for download.
