7-year-old girl sells paintings to raise money for boy with hydrocephalus

A seven-year-old girl in Angeles City, Pampanga was able to raise money for a hydrocephalus patient by selling her paintings.

According to a "24 Oras" report, Bella Manuel sold eight of her works and donated P28,500 in proceeds to an eight-year-old boy named Sean Abdon.


"Gusto ko siyang tulungan," the young artist told GMA News.

Bella's mother, who works for the Angeles City government, also donated a month's salary to Sean's family.

According to Reina Manuel, her little girl said she wanted to help after seeing photos of children in need of assistance from the local government.

"Masaya po ako kasi 'yung anak ko is handang tumulong na ganito pa lang po 'yung edad niya," the mother said.—Margaret Claire Layug/AOL, GMA News
