Alden Richards reveals his top 3 online games

By MARGARET CLAIRE LAYUG,GMA News

Like many of us these past few months, Alden Richards has been spending a lot of time at home playing online games.

In an interview with GMA News Online on Friday, Asia’s Multimedia Star talked about how online gaming had been a big help in his life long before the lockdown.

“Masarap mag-laro ng mga games (that raise) your adrenaline and your focus,” Alden said.

“When I play those games, (even) before when I was working 24/7, nare-relax ako. In a way, nare-restart ako. Nawawala ako sa real world. After no’n, balik trabaho na. Parang, it’s a short reset for me, coming from long days of work,” he explained.

The Kapuso actor and TV host was kind enough to share with us his top 3 favorite games. Check them out:

1. Ragnarok Mobile

Let’s just get one thing straight: Alden said his love for “Ragnarok Mobile” and “Mobile Legends” are “the same.”

However, the actor said he’s been playing “Ragnarok M” since it came out in the Philippines. "Parang way back in 2016 and 2017,” he said.

Also, who can forget Alden’s adorable fanboy moment with Blackpink’s Lisa? Ragnarok had a special feature that enabled the Kapuso star to hold hands with the Thai K-pop sensation ... virtually, of course.

2. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang

For those who haven’t gotten on the “Mobile Legends” hype train, Alden says ML is a must-try.

The game is simple: In a multiplayer battle arena (MOBA), two opposing teams fight to reach and destroy the enemy's base, all the while defending their own.

ML launched its first-ever street battle or LIGA in November, and Alden didn’t miss it.

3. Call of Duty

“Call of Duty” or CoD allows you to go on a mission with your friends and shoot at targets in first-person.

Now, can you imagine playing it on Alden’s PC?

The actor’s top-class gaming setup went viral back in March. The internet thought it was so nice that the hashtag #AldenPautang trended on Twitter.
