'Train to Busan' director to release new K-drama series on Netflix

After the success of "Train to Busan" and the new release of its sequel "Train to Busan 2: Peninsula," the zombie thriller director Yeon Sang-ho is now working on a new supernatural K-drama series for Netflix.

It's called "Hellbound," it's written by Yeon and Choi Gyu-seok, and in place of zombies are supernatural angels bent on condemning people to hell.

According to Netflix's press release on Wednesday, Yoo Ah-in, Park Jeong-min,  Kim Hyun-joo, Won Jin-ah and Yang Ik-june will be playing the leading roles of the new series.

The new supernatural show follows New Truth Church, an organization that leads a religious crusade proclaiming that the angels of death's visit is the will of the divine.

Produced by Lezhin Studio, "Hellbound" will be available exclusively on Netflix.
