'Girl From Nowhere' returns for Season 2, Netflix confirms

Netflix on Monday confirmed that Thai hit series "Girl From Nowhere" has already started its production for Season 2.

In a press statement, Netflix said Season 2 is inspired by true events and will continue to revolve around Nanno, a girl who transfers from one school to another, exposing lies and misdeeds of both students and the faculty members.

Its lead star Chicha Amatayakul expressed her excitement as she returns as Nanno.

"I'm grateful for all the support I've been receiving since the show landed on Netflix. It's been a pleasure to present this unique series to fans around the world," she said. "Thank you again for bringing Nanno back to life. I won't let you down!"
