Selena Gomez shows BTS of her shoot for Blackpink collab 'Ice Cream'

After Blackpink revealed the behind-the-scenes of their music video for "Ice Cream," Selena Gomez also dropped a BTS from her shoot in Los Angeles.

Despite collaborating for the song, the South Korean girl group and the American singer-songwriter had to shoot and record separately due to the pandemic.

Nevertheless, the song and music video was a success, hitting over 274 million views on YouTube.

"I'm excited because Blackpink, they are very known for their videos and they are known for their personalities so I feel like I got to step into their world a little bit," Selena said in the video.

She also showed how it went from her side during her video call with Blackpink while they shot the music video.

Right after their call, Selena couldn't help but fangirl over the girls and said "I love them!"

"I wish I was there with them. I keep saying that because I guarantee you there's this synergy that we can have if we could be in the same place but we're being safe and it's really good and everybody's happy," she said in the video.

"Ice Cream" won first place on SBS' "Inkigayo," a weekly music show featuring the most popular artists in Korea.

Blackpink, who also collaborated with Lady Gaga on the song "Sour Candy," will release their first full-length album on October 2.

The group will also have their own Netflix documentary called "BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky," which is set to drop on October 14. â€”Jannielyn Bigtas/MGP, GMA News
