You can stream 'Fame: The Musical' for free this weekend

"Fame: The Musical" is currently available for streaming on YouTube!

The Shows Must Go On YouTube channel is streaming the 30th anniversary production of the musical for 48 hours.

It is based on the 1980 film of the same name, which follows the students of New York City's High School of Performing Arts.

Popular songs include, naturally, "Fame," along with "Bring on Tomorrow," "Let's Play a Love Scene," and "Can't Keep It Down."

The Shows Must Go On has been streaming musicals for free for a limited time since the pandemic shut down theaters. Among those it streamed in the past include "Phantom of the Opera," "Cats," and "Hairspray! Live." —JCB, GMA News
