Mads Mikkelsen to replace Johnny Depp in 'Fantastic Beasts 3'

According to Entertainment Weekly and Indiewire
, the Danish actor is confirmed to replace Johnny Depp as the dark wizard in Harry Potter spin-off "Fantastic Beasts 3."The news comes weeks after Warner Bros asked Depp to resign after he lost a libel case in Britain against a tabloid that called him a "wife beater."

"Fantastic Beasts 3" is currently in production at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden outside of London, the reports said.
It is expected to arrive in theaters in 2022.
The film series takes viewers decades back before the events of the famous "Harry Potter" series, and follows magizoologist Newt Scamander in a fresh set of adventures in the Wizarding World. —JCB, GMA News
