‘Patay na si Hesus’ is coming to Netflix on Dec. 20!

The dark comedy film “Patay na si Hesus” is finally coming to Netflix just days before Christmas!

Cinema Centenario announced the news on Facebook, Friday, sharing that the 2016 Cebuano comedy film will be available on Netflix Dec. 20.

The film’s own Facebook page reshared the announcement with just the hilarious caption, “gi atay.”

“Patay na si Hesus” follows the journey of a food vendor, played by Jaclyn Jose, who forces her children to go all the way to Dumaguete from Cebu City after finding out her estranged husband died.

Through a hilarious yet chaotic family road trip, the family members find some heartwarming moments.  

The film premiered as an entry to the 2016 QCinema Film Festival and won the festival’s Audience Choice Award.
