Pokémon kicks off 25th anniversary celebrations with nostalgic video
Pokémon is turning 25 this year!
The Pokémon Company International seems to have a bunch of fun stuff planned to celebrate the milestone, and it started by releasing a nostalgic video that's sure to take fans to a walk down memory lane.
"The games. The cards. The series. The memories. Sometimes you start out catching Pokémon…but you end up catching feelings," it said in a tweet.
"We’re kicking off our 25th anniversary celebration with a walk down memory lane! Spot anything familiar?" it added.

According to its website, the company is set to commemorate "25 fun-filled years of Pokémon," and the celebration is year-long.
The first Pokémon video games, Pocket Monsters Red and Green, were released in 1996.
Pokémon has since been adapted into various media, including a popular anime series. —JCB, GMA News
