‘Hotel del Luna’ to return as stage musical

Can’t get enough of Jang Man-wol and Goo Chan-sung’s story on “Hotel del Luna”? It’s time to get excited because the series is bound to return as a musical.

According to a report by Soompi, “Hotel del Luna,” which starred IU and Yeo Jin-goo, will be produced as a stage musical set to premiere in 2022.

The 2019 K-drama follows the story of thousand-year-old Man-wol, who manages a hotel for ghosts as a consequence to a crime she did years ago.

Chan-sung then takes over due to a deal made by Man-wol and his dad when he was a child.

The “Hotel del Luna” series featured music by South Korean artists such as Red Velvet, Gummy, Taeyeon and Chungha, so viewers are curious as to how these would be presented.
