Ewan McGregor grows out beard as production for 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' kicks off

Ewan McGregor is ready for his close-up!

The "Star Wars" actor was spotted with a fully grown beard just as Disney's "Obi-Wan Kenobi" series kicks off production.

Earlier, McGregor was also spotted training hard to "lean up and slim down" ahead of the series production.

Disney announced that "Obi-Wan Kenobi" has begun production last March, and unveiled the full cast on Twitter.

Aside from McGregor, fans will see the return of Hayden Christensen, who played Anakin Skywalker in "Attack of the Clones" and "Revenge of the Sith."

"Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi" will be picking up 10 years after the events of "Revenge of the Sith." —JCB, GMA News
