'Fast & Furious 9' drops explosive trailer
The “Fast & Furious” saga continues with the release of its latest trailer for the ninth chapter.
In the video released by Universal Pictures, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) is seen taking a break from his quiet life as his past continues to haunt him.
Together with his crew, he goes on a mission to stop a villainous plot led by Jakob (John Cena) who is an assassin, a high-performance driver and Dom’s brother.
“I spent my life living in your shadow. Now, you spend yours living in mine,” Jakob said.

The film also stars returning cast members Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel and Sung Kang.
They will be joined by Oscar winners Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron.According to a press release, Grammy-winning superstar Cardi B will also join the cast as the new franchise character Leysa.
Directed by Justin Lee, the “Fast & Furious 9” movie’s release in the Philippines is yet to be announced.
