Lee Dong Wook to star in new film with Girls' Generation's Yoona

"Tale of the Nine-Tailed" star Lee Dong Wook is set to act in the new star-studded film "Happy New Year" with Girls' Generation's Yoona.

According to reports, the cast lineup of "Happy New Year" also includes other stars such as "Familiar Wife" actress Han Ji Min, "The Heirs" actor Kang Ha Neul, and "Melting Me Softly" actress Won Jin Ah.

The upcoming film revolves around different people who come to Hotel Emrose, each with their own stories to tell.

Lee Dong Wook plays the character of Hotel Emrose's CEO who is obsessed with even numbers, while Yoona plays the role of a confident hotelier.

Meanwhile, Han Ji Min plays a hotel manager, Kang Ha Neul, a job seeker who got dumped by his girlfriend and Won Jin Ah, a musical actress who puts a pause on her career and works as the hotel's chambermaid.

Other actors to be featured in the film are Seo Kang Joon, Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Young Kwang, Go Sung Hee, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Kyu Hyung, Jo Joon Young, Won Ji An, Lee Hye Young, and Jung Jin Young.

Directed by "My Sassy Girl" director Kwak Jae Yong, "Happy New Year" is set to start filming this April 19. —Kaela Malig/JCB, GMA News
