This is the first news about "Dragon Ball" that has been revealed in a couple years.

The "Dragon Ball Super" anime ended its run in 2018, the same year that "Dragon Ball Super: Broly" hit theaters.

In 2019, rumors about the second film hit the internet when Akio Iyoku, director of Shueisha's Dragon Ball Unit with Shueisha, said they're "steadily preparing for the next movie." —JCB, GMA News
