"Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train" is a direct sequel to the anime, which was based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge.

It follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy who makes the journey of becoming a demon slayer after his family is slaughtered and his younger sister Nezuko is turned into a demon.

Last year, “Demon Slayer” dethroned Studio Ghibli’s “Spirited Away” as Japan’s number one film in the box office. — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
