‘Money Heist’ season 5 wraps up filming

Getting a glimpse of the much-awaited season finale of “Money Heist” is finally closer than ever!

On Friday, Netflix announced that the hit Spanish series’ season 5 had finished filming.

“Came for the heist, stayed for the family,” said its Facebook post, sharing a photo of the cast in the iconic red jumpsuits laughing with each other.

“Money Heist Part 5 has officially wrapped production! Thank you for being part of La Resistencia,” it added.

The wrap-up becomes much more bittersweet with Netflix’s confirmation that “Money Heist,” also known as “La Casa de Papel,” will be ending with season 5.

“Money Heist,” a Spanish series that has become a global phenomenon, follows a group of red jumpsuit clad thieves who pull off heist after heist led by the Professor.

In season 5, the gang is reported to avenge the death of their fallen comrade Nairobe.
