Dingdong Dantes, Ebe Dancel, Itchyworms join online benefit concert for community pantries

Dingdong Dantes, Ebe Dancel, Jasmine Curtis-Smith and the Itchyworms are just some of the big names to join the online benefit concert for community pantries around the country.

On Saturday, Ana Patricia Non, the organizer of the Maginhawa community pantry, invited the public to join Para sa Masa, an online concert in celebration of the pantry’s first month and to raise funds for Community Pantry Pilipinas.

She said the funds raised would be used to buy vegetables from farmers who would sustain the pantries in Metro Manila, and given to those that were in far-flung areas that were inaccessible to fresh produce.

Other guest performers and celebrities also included Johnoy Danao, Iza Calzado, Agot Isidro, Sunshine Dizon and JC Santos, among others.

The online benefit concert will be streamed on the Community Pantry PH Facebook page at 7 p.m., May 15. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
