Sunshine Cruz says COVID-19 made her lungs weak, feels better after beach trip

Sunshine Cruz said COVID-19 made her lungs weak even after testing negative.

On Tuesday, the actress shared a photo of herself looking refreshed as she chilled by the beach.

“Covid made my lungs very weak. Even after testing negative for Covid, I’ve been having sleepless nights from coughing,” she wrote.

Sunshine said she declined guestings that required her to sing because of her persistent cough.

Fortunately, Sunshine said she was “finally better. Dagat lang pala ang kailangan ko (The sea was all I needed).”

“Thank you Lord for the wonderful 4 days you’ve given me and the kids,” she said.

“Thank you for the gift of work, nadadala ko ang mga anak ko sa magagandang lugar (I can bring my children to beautiful places),” she added.

“Thank you for healing me. I can finally work out. Pwede na din ulit ako kumanta (I can sing again).”

Sunshine recovered and tested negative for COVID-19 22 days after going into quarantine in April.
