BTS's 'Butter' tops Billboard Hot 100 chart for 5 weeks in a row

There's no stopping "Butter"!

BTS's latest single once again topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making this the fifth consecutive week it's been on no. 1.

 

 

 

"FIVE weeks in a row!! #BTS_Butter is on the top of the chart again. It’s all thanks to #BTSARMY!" the K-pop group's official Twitter said.

Hashtags such as "#Butter5thNo1OnHot100" and "Congratulations Kings" took over the Twitter trending list as BTS's fans celebrated the achievement.

According to Billboard, "Butter" drew 12.4 million U.S. streams and sold 128,400 downloads in the week ending June 24.

It also attracted 27.6 million radio airplay audience impressions in the week ending June 27.

ARMYs had another reason to celebrate as the "Butter" music video reached 400 million views.

According to Soompi, this is the group's 13th music video to achieve this feat, 38 days and 10 hours since the song's release last March 21.

On Monday night, “#Butter400M” was the top trending topic on local Twitter.

 

The "Butter" MV now joins the ranks of the BTS's hit songs which have also reached 400 million views such as “Spring Day,” “DNA,” “Fire,” “Boy With Luv,” and “Dynamite,” among others.

"Butter" is BTS's second full English song after the Grammy-nominated
"Dynamite." It was released on May 21.
