'Kingdom: Ashin of the North' trailer gives a closer look at Jun Ji Hyun’s badass character

Looks like Jun Ji Hyun is playing a total badass in "Kingdom: Ashin of the North"!

The upcoming special side episode of the Netflix hit series "Kingdom" finally released its full trailer, and it takes us deeper into the past of the mysterious character, Ashin, as well as the dark origins of the disastrous resurrection plant.

Almost a minute longer than the previous teaser, the video features more action-packed clips of Jun Ji Hyun taking down ravenous creatures with a bow and arrow.

We also hear Ashin unveil her plan: “When my job here is done, after I’ve killed every living thing on Joseon and Jurchen soil, we’ll be reunited.”

Netflix's "Kingdom" is a South Korean horror-thriller drama that takes place in the Joseon period wherein the land is taken over by a mysterious disease that brings the dead back to life and turns them into flesh-eating monsters.

"Kingdom: Ashin of the North" is an upcoming special episode that will follow a new character played by Jun Ji Hyun, who made a surprise appearance at the end of Season 2.
