Lea Salonga praises new BTS song 'Permission to Dance': 'This is just beautiful'

Even Lea Salonga is singing praises for BTS's "Permission to Dance"!

The renowned singer took to Twitter to express her delight over the Korean superstars' new song, which premiered on YouTube on Friday.

"Oh wow, this is just beautiful!!!" she wrote. "To the writers of the song, the cast and crew in Seoul and LA, and BTS themselves, THANK YOU FOR THIS!"

Her tweet has garnered over 12,000 likes as of writing.

"Permission to Dance" is BTS's latest feel-good song, sung wholly in English. It comes at the heels of the highly successful "Butter," which has so far spent six consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The new track was co-written by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.

Last year, BTS also made waves with their song "Dynamite," which was later nominated for a Grammy. —JCB, GMA News
