Save the date! The second season of "The Witcher" is arriving on December 17.
Netflix made the announcement during the WitcherCon on Friday. At its heels was the highly-anticipated trailer that finally gave a proper look at the upcoming season.
The two-minute video showed Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill) meeting up with the exiled Princess Cirilla.
"The Witcher" is based on the fantasy book series of the same name.
It tells the story of the intertwined destinies of three individuals in the vast world of The Continent, where humans, elves, witchers, gnomes, and monsters battle to survive and thrive, and where good and evil is not easily identified.
A prequel for the series called "The Witcher: Blood Origin" is also in the works. —JCB, GMA News
