Netflix's 'One Piece' live-action series reveals logo, title of pilot episode

After over a year, we finally get an update about Netflix's live-action adaptation of the iconic "One Piece."

The official Twitter account of the show posted a photo of the script, with the caption, "No matter how hard or how impossible it is, never lose sight of your goal."

Showrunner Steven Maeda retweeted the post, saying, "It’s been a long wait…"

 

 

 

The title of the first episode is shown to be "Romance Dawn."

Meanwhile, Netflix Geeked shared the official logo for the series.

Netflix announced the project as early as January 2020. The series is set to have 10 episodes.

Eiichiro Oda, the author of the manga series, is one of the show's executive producers.

"One Piece" was serialized as a manga in 1997 and is still ongoing, making it one of the longest-running manga series in existence. It spawned an anime with the same name in 1999. —JCB, GMA News
