Rachelle Ann Go completes first 'Les Misérables' show since giving birth

Rachelle Ann Go  did all working mothers proud after completing her first "Les Misérables" show since giving birth in March.

On Instagram, Saturday, the Filipino theater star shared photos of her in costume for her role as Fantine.

Rachelle expressed how thankful she is to have spent her birthday with the cast.

"What an amazing birthday treat to do 'Les Misérables' concert last week for six shows only!" she wrote in the caption.

According to Rachelle, she wasn't sure at first if she can do the show while taking care of Baby Lukas.

"I was so scared to do it since I didn't know how I'm going to manage my time with Lukas. I told my self I couldn't do it. How will I sing? I never sleep. But praise God we did it!" she said.

"Always do it scared, right? It all worked out. Thank you to everyone who came to watch and to all the Filipinos who said hi after the show," she added.

Last month, the show's social media paged announced that the musical theater actress is set to play Fantine again from August 31 to September 4.

Rachelle turned down the role in December due to her pregnancy.

In March last year, she reprised the role of Fantine in the musical's West End production in London.

She first joined the musical's cast during its 30th-anniversary staging in London, following her acclaimed performance as the hardened bar girl Gigi Van Tranh in Miss Saigon's West End comeback.
