Gabbi and Khalil's 'Stories from the Heart' episode is perfect for 'healing' this Christmas

Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos are set to bring the kilig in GMA-7's "Stories from the Heart: Love On Air."

The all-new installment premiering this Nov. 29 follows a Scrooge-like radio DJ Joseph (Khalil) who meets a bright and beautiful online seller named Wanda (Gabbi).

According to director Paul Sta. Ana, their fun and lighthearted story is a fitting way to welcome the Christmas season.

"Kasi this is a story about healing," he explained in an internal press conference. "[They try to] rid themselves of the heartaches of the past, the pain, the loneliness, the need to let go."

Gabbi and Khalil admitted that DJ Jojo and Wanda 's relationship was "very different" from theirs, but they were very excited for their fans to see it.

"It's very magaan, it's all about love, it's all about being yourself," Gabbi said. "And also its all about conquering your fears when it comes to love kaya it's very, very unique and it's the perfect story for Christmas."

"The way they meet kasi is very different sa mga stories na nakasanayan natin," Khalil added. "So abangan ng mga Kapuso si DJ Jojo at si Miss Wanderful… very feel good, light, medyo kaunting drama na aabangan ng mga Kapuso."

Stories from the Heart: Love On Air” airing this November 29 also stars Sunshine Cruz, Kate Valdez,Kiray Celis, Anjo Damiles, Jason Francisco, Yasser Marta, and 'The Clash' Season 1 alumnus Psalms David. —JCB, GMA News
