BTS's 'Dynamite' was the most streamed song on Apple Music in 2021

Here's another proof that BTS's "Dynamite" will never not be iconic — it was the most streamed song on Apple Music this year.

Released in August 2020, the song was just revealed to be on the no.1 spot on Apple Music's global chart Top Songs of 2021.

The chart tracked the most-streamed songs across the globe from October 2020 to October 2021.

Following "Dynamite" was Olivia Rodrigo's "Driver's License," Ariana Grande's "Positions," Pop Smoke's "For The Night," The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" and Justin Bieber's "Peaches."

BTS's recent hit song "Butter" also made it to the chart at no. 21.

Upon its release, “Dynamite” debuted at no. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100, where it stayed for three non-consecutive weeks.

The music video also broke several Guinness World Records, including most viewed YouTube video, music video, and music video by a K-Pop group in 24 hours.

The records were only beaten by BTS's comeback single "Butter."

In May, BTS won Top Selling Song at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards for "Dynamite," and in September, Rolling Stones included the track in their new version of their 500 Best Songs of All Time list. —JCB, GMA News
