Ahn Bo Hyun to replace Kim Seon Ho in rom-com film with Yoona–report

"Yumi's Cells" actor Ahn Bo Hyun has been confirmed to replace Kim Seon Ho in the upcoming romance comedy film with Girls' Generation's Yoona.

According to a Soompi report on Tuesday, production company Filmmaker R&K confirmed that Bo Hyun and Yoona will be playing the lead roles in the film "2 O' Clock Date."

To be directed by Lee Sang Geun, "2 O'Clock Date" revolves around a woman with a big secret and a man who lives on the floor above her. The two will then find their lives intertwined as they end up meeting every day as neighbors.

was previously confirmed to star as the male lead, but the production company later announced their decision to replace him after a controversy involving the actor erupted.

Despite the loss of the film project, Seon Ho had proven his spot in the limelight as he won two popularity awards at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards.

He is also now starring with Go Ara and Kang Tae Joo in the upcoming film "Sad Tropics," which is helmed by renowned director Park Hoo Jung.
