New 'Uncharted' trailer whisks Tom Holland's Nathan Drake off to a globe-trotting adventure

Tom Holland once again proves that he's on another level when it comes to action.

The Spider-Man actor pulls off some impressive stunts in the new trailer for "Uncharted," the big screen adaptation of the PlayStation video game by Naughty Dog.

The film follows Tom Holland's Nathan Drake, a street-smart thief, as he is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago.

What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs.

The pair must learn to work together lest they stand to lose $5 billion in treasure.

Sophia Ali and Tati Gabrielle are also starring in the film.

Directed by Ruben Fleischer, "Uncharted" will hit Philippine cinemas in 2022. —JCB, GMA News
