'Knives Out 2' to premiere late 2022 —report

Who's ready to see Daniel Craig as Private Detective Benoit Blanc again?

According to a Deadline report, the sequel to the hit murder mystery film "Knives Out" is set to be released in late 2022.

The report added that the film is expected to make a festival run before its release.

Director Rian Johnson announced that filming for "Knives Out 2" began in July last year.

Knives Out” (2019) explores the circumstances of the tragic death of the patriarch of the wealthy and dysfunctional Thrombey family.

The first film had an all-star cast that included Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christopher Plummer, Toni Colette, Katherine Langford and Jaeden Martell.

Craig is reportedly set to star in two sequels of “Knives Out” after ending his longtime stint as James Bond in the 007 franchise. —JCB, GMA News
