The #eLeksyon2022 quiz filter is part of GMA News and Public Affairs' voters’ education campaign called "#eLeksyonSerye."

With more than 172 million followers across popular social media platforms, GMA News and Public Affairs utilizes a multimedia approach to equip voters with the right information for the upcoming Eleksyon 2022.

According to Dennis Caharian of GMA New Media, Inc. (NMI), “We were very excited to work with NAPA Digital Media on this project because we felt that we could offer a bit of an edge to what is already a holistic elections coverage care of GMA News and Public Affairs. Per Comelec, 56% of registered voters for the May 2022 elections belong to the youth sector. Given this, and the current popularity of apps like Tiktok and Instagram, we at NMI wanted to lend our expertise in tapping the youth vote by offering a fun and engaging addition to the Eleksyon2022 coverage. With these AR filters, users can show off their election knowledge in an entertaining and ultimately very shareable way.”

Since its launch last week, the #eLeksyon2022quiz filter has already been used by more than 4,800 accounts, opened by 11,700 users, and has reached almost 40, 000 people. More than 525 of them saved the filter and 400 shared it.

You can try the filter on Instagram and on Facebook. You can also take the quiz on the GMA News Online website. —JCB, GMA News
