'Umbrella Academy' Season 3 to premiere June 22

The wait is nearly over!

Netflix finally announced the release date for the highly-anticipated third season of "Umbrella Academy" — June 22!

The streaming giant also shared photo stills on Twitter, featuring the two versions of the Hargreeves siblings facing off.

The official Twitter account of the series also shared a short clip, showing the characters seemingly preparing to fight.

"The Sparrows have landed," the teaser said.

"The Umbrella Academy," which stars Tom Hopper, Elliot Page, Aidan Gallagher, Robert Sheehan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, and David Castañeda, revolves around seven siblings who were born with special abilities and are tasked to save the world from ending.

The second season ended with the Hargreeves siblings encountering an alternate version of reality and themselves.

Adapted from Gerard Way's comic book, the hit Netflix series first premiered in 2019. —JCB, GMA News
